Are 35 Watt Halogens Too Dim

Not knowing what to do I wanted to spend a few hours to classify corals in my tank, so I based my book on Corals of the World by JEN Veron.

I can say that it is very difficult to identify from images of corals perfect illustration and by the fact that almost all are photographed in their natural environment, with a predominance (Great Barrier Reef) Australia.
